Who we are
PartsBusters (partsbusters.co.uk) is responsible for your personal data. Contact us at hello@partsbusters.co.uk.
What we collect
If you use the launch signup box: your email address, and the date and time you submitted it.
If you send a part request: your name, email address, vehicle registration number, the part you want, and anything else you choose to add, such as a phone number, VIN or notes. A registration number or VIN can identify you, so we treat it as personal data.
Why we collect it
Launch signup: to email you once when PartsBusters launches, and about the launch only. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form.
Part request: to check the part fits your vehicle and reply with a price and availability. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. It is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which processes it on our behalf. When you sign up, we also receive a notification email containing your address. It is delivered by Cloudflare to a Gmail inbox, so Google also handles it as an email provider. These providers may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards they provide.
Fonts and cookies
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When you visit, your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google so the fonts can be delivered. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in displaying the page properly. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Launch signups: until we have sent the launch email, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever is sooner. Part requests: for up to 12 months after your request, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Notification emails are deleted along with the request on request.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
